Vehicle Safety Head Graphic Snowmobiles & ATVs : Snowmobiler's Code of Ethics

I will be a good sportsman and set a positive example for other snowmobilers by:

  1. Taking care and caution with the terrain and wildlife in areas I travel through.
  2. Riding in safe areas and avoiding territory that is designated for the protection and feeding of wildlife.
  3. Placing litter in trash containers or keeping the material until I find a trash container.
  4. Respecting the rights and property of others.
  5. Lending a helping hand when I notice someone in distress.
  6. Assisting in search and rescue parties if needed.
  7. Respecting the rights of, and not interfering with, other winter sports enthusiasts.
  8. Knowing and obeying all federal, provincial and local laws regulating the operation of snowmobiles.
  9. Travelling in areas where sledding is allowed and encouraged.
  10. Riding Safe. Riding Sober.
Responsible riding begins with you - as a club member,
family member and as an individual rider.
